City College Site Might Not House City College

THE NORTHEAST CAMPUS of Los Angeles City College, nearing completion at the old Van de Kamp Bakery site at San Fernando Rd. and Fletcher Dr., might not house the community college after all.

A letter from LACC President Jamillah Moore indicates that other tenants might occupy the $70 million, 30,000 sq ft historic building the first 5 years. What tenants? A reader says a 9th-grade charter school and a WorkSource job-seeking center are likely. Public meeting tonight:
