Did you know that the Wiltern was the second tallest building in Los Angeles until 1967 (ten years after the 13 story limit was repealed by the City Council)?
Also, The building also now houses Studio One, Shepard Fairey's design company. Obey.
This mash-up names are one of my fav things about LA--I've never seen them in other cities, but imagine they probably exist. Some of my favorites:
Vershire clothing store (Vermont/Wilshire) Hollymont Cleaners (Hollywood and Vermont) Silversun Liquors (Silver Lake and Sunset) San-Fair Market (Santa Monica and Fairfax)

Please enjoy the show. Yes, the name of the venue is a conjugation of the street names.
If you happen to need public service or life safety assistance in that neighborhood, don't hesitate to stop at nearby Fire Station 29.
Please travel safely and party responsibly!
