Buy it. The streets will be filled with little creatures by 5p tomorrow. So much so, that it feels dangerous to drive. Be careful and deliver upon the young costumed plentiful sweets!
Buy candy. Lots of candy. Three times as much as you would think you would possibly need. The kiddies keep on comin! Oh yeah- and sneak a piece for yourself too before it all disappears! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
We usually buy lots of candy and have tons of traffic, but this year was a dud according to my hubby (I was working). Now I have to figure out if Target takes back candy or if I should just let 50 $100,000 bars go straight to my thighs! Anyone know why the kiddies didn't come out this year?
As it turns out neither Mrs. nor I were in Atwater Village for Halloween, so we missed the fun. (Or lack thereof.) Mrs. had fun with our godsons, though, in places far south. And I had fun, of a sort, working late. Maybe next year! - AVN
Ha. I turned the lights out too at 8p due to lack of candy. Must have gone thru a couple hundred pieces...and i live between Glendale and Fletcher (you know, the are not identified as Atwater Village by L.A. Weekly)
We're in between Los Feliz & Glendale Blvds., right down the street from Tam O' Shanter. I'm beginning to suspect my hubby of turning off the lights in a bid to keep all the Baby Ruths for himself!
