Every Canele Has Its Thorne
CHEF DAVID THORNE helms the menu tomorrow, Sept. 15, at
Canele in Atwater Village
. Part of the Friends Cook series, it's a 3-course dinner for $32:
First: Watermelon and beet salad with feta and preserved meyer lemon
Second: Seared duck breast with parsnip puree, cabbage and plums
Third: Roasted figs with creme fraiche and condensed arabic coffee
