Best BBQ in LA?

RAVES FOR Bigmista's Barbecue, sold at a few LA farmers markets, including Atwater Village on Sundays, 10:00am, 3250 Glendale Blvd. (Go early!) Chowhounders love it. Yelpers love it. Any neighbors try it?

ha. I definitely did. Saw it there a week or so ago, but held off til yesterday. The bbq brisket sandwich was alright...until I added the bbq sauce and then, it was sensational!

Nice people, too. I'll definitely be back.

It is indeed some of the best bbq in LA (as good as some of the stuff I've had in texas). The brisket is probably my favorite, but I haven't had anything bad there. The beans and greens are great too, as is the atmosphere.

can't recommend it enough.

I need to check the hype ASAP. People were saying they have better ribs than both Nate's AND Bludso's of Compton. Find this nearly incomprehensible but.. ok?
