Don't understand why LA doesn't have Jacaranda festivals like DC has Cherry Blossom festivals. These trees are spectacular and they turn the city streets into little boulevards of magic each spring.
My elementary school used to have a jacaranda tree in the yard. I used to stick little twigs into the bark and make little platforms on it.Yes Glenoaks has a few jacarandas in the center divider. Maybe that could be a parade route?
I know, they're everywhere! It's wonderful.
