THIS WEEK'S Friends Cook series brings a genuine TV star to the Canele kitchen, 3219 Glendale Blvd., in Atwater Village. Andre Royo (also known as Bubbles on HBO's The Wire) cooks a $32, 3-course prix fixe menu for dinner Tuesday, Nov. 17, 5:30pm to 10:00pm:

• First Course: "Eat Your Veggies"
• Second Course: "Sloppy Andre" and Tater Tots
• Third Course: Coffee Ice Cream Sandwich
