I'm glad they got mentioned though, they deserve it. And brunch here is NOT that expensive compared to many other places in the city. You seem to forget that the omelet comes with tomato confit, chorizo, goat cheese, and carmelized onions, as well as being hand-made from Corina Weibel (generally) herself. You won't get Gordon Ramsay or Jose Andres making their brunches (especially not Gordo)mattatouillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18362025149586532212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24103652.post-8343135049270523402009-04-13T12:01:00.000-07:002009-04-13T12:01:00.000-07:00What was wrong with the service? I may doubt 'top 10 in the country' status, but Canele is really good. Instead of $100+ for breakfast for four I'd rather buy a dozen bagels and a couple bottles of Veuve and stay in my backyard...which, by the way, doesn't have creepy photos of half-naked folks jumping in a lake.Jrzedevlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11513874505430138870noreply@blogger.com
